Expedited & Time-Critical Shipping

When a load absolutely cannot be late, expedited service puts it on a direct, monitored run — no terminals, no waiting, straight to the dock — across Canada and the United States.

Direct dispatch

Freight goes straight to the truck and straight to the destination.

Time-critical

Built for hard deadlines — production-down, AOG-style urgency.

24/7 visibility

Round-the-clock tracking and updates until it’s delivered.

When you need expedited freight

Some shipments can’t wait for the next available truck or a standard transit window. A down production line, a missed inbound, a critical replacement part, or a hard retail deadline turns freight into an emergency. Expedited service exists for exactly these moments: the load is dispatched directly and moves without the terminal stops and consolidation delays of standard freight.

How expedited is different

  • Direct, non-stop routing — no terminals, no transloading, no co-loading
  • Priority dispatch, often same-day pickup on available lanes
  • Team-driver options on long runs to keep the wheels turning
  • Continuous tracking and proactive communication around the clock

Expedited across the border

Time-critical freight and customs delays don’t mix. For expedited cross-border loads we prepare PARS/PAPS and ACE/ACI documentation ahead of arrival and choose the fastest appropriate crossing, so the border is a checkpoint — not a bottleneck. See cross-border shipping for the full process.

Honest commitments

Expedited only works if the promise is real. We quote transit windows we can actually hit for the equipment available, and we keep you informed the entire way. If a deadline genuinely can’t be met by truck, we’ll tell you straight rather than over-promise.

Questions

Expedited — your questions answered

What is expedited shipping?

Expedited shipping is a premium, time-critical service where freight is dispatched directly and moves without the terminal stops of standard transit. It’s used when a shipment has a hard deadline that normal service can’t reliably meet.

How is expedited different from standard freight?

Standard freight may wait for the next scheduled truck and can route through terminals. Expedited freight gets priority dispatch and direct, non-stop routing — often with same-day pickup and, on long runs, team drivers — to compress transit time.

Can you expedite a cross-border shipment?

Yes. We prepare customs paperwork (PARS/PAPS, ACE/ACI) in advance and select the fastest suitable crossing so border processing doesn’t eat into your deadline.

How quickly can you pick up an expedited load?

On many lanes we can arrange same-day or next-morning pickup depending on equipment availability and origin. Call dispatch at (647) 388-3034 with your pickup location and deadline and we’ll give you a straight answer fast.
